Who we are.
WeaveLines Ventures is the venture practice of WeaveLines SARL, which runs this website. WeaveLines SARL is a product and engineering firm founded in 2017, with offices at rue Slah Eddine Bouchoucha, 2026 Sidi Bou Said, and at 39 rue Ibn Khaldoun, 1002 Tunis, Tunisia. We decide what this site collects and what is done with it. Anything on this page can be asked about at hello@weavelinesventures.com.
What the site collects by itself.
Nothing that identifies you. There is no account to make and no sign-in, and the site keeps nothing of its own in your browser. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font service, so opening a page does not announce your visit to anyone else.
What you send us through the forms.
The contact page has two forms: a note to the founders, and a request for the company brief. Both ask for your name, your work email, your phone number with its country, your organisation, your role in it and the kind of organisation it is. The note also asks for the challenge you have in mind, and offers a field for your website. Each records which language the page was in. Nothing else is read: each form has a fixed list of fields, and anything else sent with it is discarded.
What happens to a submission.
Three things, in this order. It is checked to make sure a person sent it and not a script. It is filed as a contact record, so we can pick the conversation up where it was left. It then reaches us as an email. If you asked for the company brief, a second email takes it to the address you gave. A note sends you nothing automatically: one of the founders replies.
Booking a call.
The contact page shows a booking calendar served by Cal.com. Because the calendar is theirs, opening that page tells them you were there, and if you book a time, what you type goes to Cal.com rather than through this site. No other page loads anything from them.
Analytics and cookies.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and which are not. It sets its own cookies in your browser and reports your page views, the approximate location your address resolves to, and the kind of browser and device you are on. We look at it in totals, never to identify one reader. Blocking cookies for this site, or installing Google's own opt-out add-on, stops it, and the site works the same without it.
The companies that handle it.
We use other companies for the parts we do not run ourselves: a host, a spam check, contact records, email, analytics and a booking calendar. Each is given the least it needs to do its job.
Vercel · Hosting
Every request to the site: the address it came from, the page asked for and the browser that asked, in the server log.
Cloudflare · Spam check
Your address and browser when the contact page loads, because the check runs there, and a single-use token when a form is sent. It is never given what you wrote.
HubSpot · Contact records
What a form asks for, kept as one contact record with the form it came from and the language of the page.
Resend · Email
The email that tells us what you sent, and, if you asked for it, the email that brings you the company brief.
Google Analytics · Analytics
Your page views, the approximate location your address resolves to, and your browser and device, against a cookie it sets itself.
Cal.com · Booking
Your address when the contact page loads, because the calendar is served from there, and whatever you type into it if you book a time.
How long we keep it, and what we never do.
What you send stays in our inbox and in our contact records until you ask us to remove it. We do not delete on a timer, and we would rather say so than claim a schedule we do not keep. We do not sell what you send us, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Seeing or deleting what we hold.
Write to hello@weavelinesventures.com from the address you gave us, or tell us which address to look under. We will tell you what we hold, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Deleting it means the contact record and the correspondence both go, and we will confirm when it is done.
Changes to this page.
When what we do changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. The page as it stands is what we do now.
